Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm 78,
You want to know my meaning to the halftrack? I think it is a Sd.Kfz. 7. Here the best pics from both possible types I could find: first pic: Sd.Kfz. 7 type KM m 8 (source of the pic: Waffen-Arsenal Band 8 "Halbkettenfahrzeuge" by Uwe Feist), second pic: Sd.Kfz. 8 DB s 8 (source of the pic: Waffen-Arsenal Band 144 "Die schweren Zugkraftwagen der Wehrmacht 1934 - 1945" by Reinhard Frank). So You can compare.
Best regards
Bert

Sturm, The only type that I've seen with the spare tyres like that is the KM m 8.

I concur on the Mercedes L 1500/2000. For a thread about gas mask headlamp covers see http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... &p=1848237.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Dave,
It's a Magirus. I'm thinking either M 25 / M 27 / M 30.
BTW what river is this unit crossing?

Re: Vehicle identity requests
HI Max,
I'm having second thoughts on the Mercedes L1500, what do you think about a L3000 S.
Cheers, Dave

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I don't think so, Dave. Look at where the headlamps are mounted between the fenders and the bonnet.udondave wrote:HI Max,
