Very well done, Andrey and thank you!!!

Steyr model 530 was on my own "short list" in the second part of my search but I looked at hundreds of photos of this car and did not find one with that specific type of louvers in the side of the motor hood. I was also looking at the year range 1937-1940 which did not help!

So the photo must have been taken early in the war, and probably in Austria which was not under any kind of attack threat.

Bill

Hello everyone,

Is this a Ford V8-G48 ? And was towing a trailer common with these cars?

Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
I agree with your ID of a Ford-Köln V8-G48 Cabriolet ca.1935-1936:

As to the trailer question, I don't know how common it was but I haven't seen too many.

Hi Dave,

to the field kitchen: it is a captured Russian field kitchen type KP - 3 - 37 (КП = кухня полевая - 3 - 37). I have seen many pics of this field kitchen with dual tyres. So it was not unusual. But I don´t think that it was the original outfit. The mudguards are smaller than the dual tyres. I have reason to believe that it depended on the bad roads in Russia. Here a pic of this kitchen from http://www.acemodel.com.ua . On Holger´s site http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de there is also a good pic of this kitchen.

Regards

Bert

Thank you very much Bert for the field kitchen ID.

Is this a Hf. 14? ( it may well the one with the 'borrowed' wheels posted earlier)

Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave,
It's not an Hf.14. My guess would be captured, possibly Russian judging by the cast star on the door. Here is a pic of a similar one from http://www.panzerarmee.com/

If I may offer a friendly suggestion: Maybe consider posting your very interesting Field Kitchen photos here in the Field Kitchen thread http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 7&t=152538 for the benefit of the folks who specialize in this topic?
