Please can somebody identify this eBay.de offering? The rear-wheel cutouts are distinctive, perhaps overcoming the fact that the front end is all but hidden.
Thanks,
Kerry.

Hi Kerry,

No firm ID but with that Trado suspension Chevrolet and Ford seem the usual suspects; say Ford V8 Model 51 with local bodywork.

I agree with Markus.....

Ford DAF Trado but I think the vehicle is one of the 1939 year model series.
A photo below with another body variant.

Thank you for the photo, Kerry, first time I ever saw this body type.

Hi, Can anyone identify the car and motorcycles to the right of the Morris CS8. This was taken outside the church in Teralfene in May 1940. There's also a truck on the right hand edge of the photo you can just see the back and rear wheel. Anyone care to speculate on the ID.

Thanks Steve

Hi Steve:

I am just running out but I believe the passenger car is an Opel Super 6.
The other is British but I don't have the time for a positive id.

Hi Steve:

Now back home again.

Regarding the vehicle on the left, I am going with a Morris CS 8.
Based on the plaque on the front of the radiator and the arrangement of the windscreen as well as the shape of the fenders/mudguards.

Hi Bill, yes I agree it's actually from the 4 Gordon Highlanders, note the 126 with a white bar under the number. The Gordons. an MG Battalion were covering the withdrawal of parts of the 3rd Infantry Division as they crossed the Dendre near Teralfene. I was actually wondering about the vehicle on the right hand edge of the photo, probably another CS8, you can just see a wheel and a fender.

Cheers Steve

Hi Steve:

OOOPS:

Now that I have read your post again, I see what you were asking and I missed that you had already ID'd the Morris.

Sometimes, Saturday Mornings are not the best times to read posts.

Hi Steve,
Maybe a Mercedes 170 VK, a Kfz. 2/40 for example?

Very similar to that Ford Daf posted by Bill on August 29th.
From expired ebay.
