Hi Dirk,

what a found from yesterday. MB L 6500 is correct. That´s the first time I have seen this type on rails. So it is a very rare pic.

Best regards

Bert

It is likely a Belgian truck of an unknown manufacturer. Another one was posted in this thread before.

i haven t the slightest idea fgor this one
Dirk
A late 1920s LHD race car? The symbol on the front should be the manufacturer's. I have searched through Grand Prix listings and cannot find a match. Not even a slight resemblance. :?

I have no idea.
Acording to speculations from polish forums this could be WB-10 or one of other two prototypes build for competition started by Polish army.

In 1926, the Polish army started a competition for the next Polish tank design. The competitors were the Warsaw Locomotive Plant and PZInz (back then it was still just one factory located in Czechowice). Warsaw Locomotive Plant designers won the competition by offering two possible variants: one was purely a tracked vehicle, the other was a wheel-cum-track design. Both prototypes were constructed in 1927 and in May 1928, the wheel-cum-track variant was tested. Those was the WB-10 of Eng.Ludwik Eberman.
After test WB-10 Prototypes become conserved, covered with a tarpaulin, set in the fort of Wola, where they were guarded by sentries, till the outbreak of war.

Two other tanks are also in question, prototypes of PZInż and prof.Czerwiński

Or maybe this is just a unknown relic of WW I.
Interesting. Was Czerwiński was employed by PZInż?

Hello Uncle,
Sadly not that, look at the scale against the Feldgendarme in my picture and the soldiers in yours, a much bigger vehicle.
But thank you, it is an interesting thought,
kerry.

Kerry, I believe Uncle was trying to solve his own query.

This is the Belgian truck I was referring to. I don't believe it has been identified, sadly.

It holds some similarity. But the unknown is more 'crude' looking.

Hi Uncle

I think the lorry you are trying to identify is a Karrier Bantam. http://www.lmssociety.org.uk/topics/roadMotorDept.shtml

Hi guys,
Though I admit there is some resemblence to the Commer and Karrier, Uncle's vehicle is LHD so I don't think it's likely a British lorry.
Cheers,
Max
