On No.1 it is Isotta Fraschini D80CO, the civilian variant. The same pic in much better quality and size:

I asked Eric Voytko of Classic Refuse Trucks and he thinks it might be a FAUN, but another possibility is Krupp. There is a video of refuse trucks based on the same chassis here.

This is really outside of military vehicles though.

Since we are on the subject of public works vehicles, here's another. I'm not sure, M-B L3000 maybe?

Just a follow-up. The refuse truck in question is now confirmed to be a FAUN. You can see in the attached 1943 image. source: http://www.stadtreinigung.hamburg/ueber ... eschichte/

Looks like an L 3000 to me. The Body of the truck is built by Keller und Knappich, in Augsburg.

Thanks again to Eric for the information. :)

Hi uncle,
I don't have an exact match but I think it is a GMC from around 1930. The writing on the bonnet could possibly read "General Motors Trucks".

Here's another 1930 GM Truck ad showing a single rear wheel model w/Trilex rims such as in uncle's pic. It seems actual photos are hard to come by:

Hello all,

Could anyone identify this tracked vehicle I posted here: forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=178491&sid=bf07feea33a1b483c2207c2336ed3434&start=45

Perhaps a post-war vehicle but looks really similar to RSO...
