Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Guys,
Not quite what you are looking for, Bill but these purport to be Weiss Manfred Types H1 and H2 from a Hungarian blog.

Thanks for the International C300 ID, Bill! You're the savior!

Bill, thank you for the link. I sometimes write short articles in this e-zine, but I have not noticed this publication. Photo I found the link http://www.fortepan.hu/?view=all&lang=e ... ge+pattern

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Viktor:
Yes, Fortepan is an excellent site. A friend of mine who provides photos to them told me about it a few years ago.
I primarily use the site to get photos of US cars and trucks used in Hungary 1930-1945 but I also use it to search for military trucks
It is a bit slow to go through and the identifications are not always accurate but the photos are great!

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Thanks for the links, Bill, Markus, and Viktor. One great thing about this site is how one ID request can open so many doors to further knowledge. To be honest, I didn't even know of this marque before yesterday!
Cheers,

Re: Vehicle identity requests
My guess would be an early Lancia 3RO.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Bill, I think, the shape of the front fender and the roof of the cab - are not similar.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
You are correct and it is quite possible I have the wrong identification.
However the photo below shows another RO that has the earlier cab and fenders but a different type of motor hood louvers and this is more or less what I thought it might be. Apparently after the Germans arrived in Italy, they made changes to the cabin and mudguards in later production.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Nevertheless you're on the right path, Bill!
Yes,it is early production Lancia but the model is Ro. Just Ro, not 3Ro. Something like this:
N.B. The wheels and cab type may vary, as usual with the Italians.
HTH
Cheers!

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi one and all, hope everyone's well.
Can anyone identify this car? It wasn't really designed for a Brittany dirt track was it?
