Hi Alan,
I also have thought about WOT3 but the fender shape is what I don't like
Thanks anyway!

Perhaps a form of Commer Q2?

Hi Kerry:

I have been going in the same direction.

The photo below shows the small ventilator in the rear of the cowl as on the ID pic and the tyres seem to match.
I am still looking for better photos, this one shows the standard RAF body which is quite different from the Umbau.

Hi Bill,
Thank you for that. Possibly there was a version with a similar body, but german bodywork is still a possibility, albeit fairly major "surgery".
Going back to my own query on page 576, August 30th, I have done some more research. I think it is possibly a RAF Hillman Hawk 15cwt Tender. The tender was the RAF equivalent of a GS truck, the Hawk was seemingly used in this form pre- and early war.
Kerry.

Bill,
It is very hard to find reference, especially photographic, for the Q2 15cwt, but here are 2, one from Wheels and tracks number5 and the other I found on the net, of a captured example, possibly Norway?

1. Those are wheels are normally on GMC models, no? The body does not match a GMC though.

Hello uncle,
Referring to your photo of the Dodge, not the unknown vehicle, it is a 1938 model year. The cab looks European. Note the wheels are different.
