Hi Patrick,
Looks Wolseley to me. 1937-39 period most probably. Maybe "Ten" of 1939.
Cheers!

Thanks ilfil, but i think this is not Wolseley.......
The radiator grill does not correspond.
But i think too, this is British.

Hi Dirk and Andrey,
Thanks for your responses and especially for your pic, Andrey, of the same truck as seen from the front. Based on that distinctive front bumper I have no doubt that you are correct that it is a Willeme Y 10.

Right, I didn't spot it in time. However, I still think this is a "Nuffield Product".
I'm afraid we have no other choice than to wait patently for Bill Murrey to tell us the truth.
Do you hear me, Bill?

Hi All:

Regarding Patrick's sedan, it is a Rover 12 of 1938 vintage I believe.

I show here 3 photos, one a 1939 model that shows reasonable detail of the radiator emblem and the end of the shock absorbers where the bumper mounts to the chassis. Also a bit of the fender moulding.

Two is a 1938 model, our car, poor photo but it shows the distinctive ventilation louvres in the side of the motor hood.

Three is a close up photo of the Rover radiator emblem logo which is where I started my ID journey on this one..

Thanks Bill for identified Rover.
But i am not sure this is a 1938 model.
For me and after many research, i think this is a model 1937.
Like this one, Rover 12 1937 Sport Saloon.

Many thanks again.

Hi Sturm,
This is Carro d'assalto mod.36 on L6/40 chassis prototype. AFAIK due to its height it has stability problems and the project was abandoned.
The picture was taken during its presentation in Rome on 12 November 1935 and not doctored looks so:

Thank you, ilfil

The L6/40 tank appeared in 1940 so I think that the chassis of the Carro d'assalto mod.36 would be based on a CV35 tankette, is it not ??
