► Photothread: Luftwaffe vehicles
Re: Luftwaffe vehicles
Hi Max,
Unfortunately I've yet to find a photo of a Kurier with both that bumper and grille, louvring, wings and wheels matching Sturm's pic. Could just be a Garant with a replacement/retrofit bumper from a younger year model Kurier.

Yes, I think that is the most likely scenario. A 4/23 PS Kübelwagen based on the 11/35 Garant with a Kurier bumper. Stranger things have happened.

Hello Sturm,
To me it looks like a 4/20 PS.

Hi Max,
the Büssing-NAG G 31 is a Kfz. 77: You can see the cable drum behind the windscreen. And as far as I know there were no Kfz. 76 in units of the Luftwaffe.
Best regards
Bert

Hi Max:
One source says it is by the body maker Touring but I have no solid proof yet.

Re: Luftwaffe vehicles
Hello Bill and thank you very much. I suspect your source is correct. Here are a couple of exemplars from the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera website http://www.touringsuperleggera.eu/en/company.php.
Although neither are exact car they exhibit very similar stylistic elements: Merge the two together and you can visualize a rough approximation of the original design!

Henschel (or Magirus) Type 33. A nice view of the bolted together Trilex rims used on the later models to facilitate tire changes in the field. Can anyone identify the "stag horns" symbol on the door?
Cheers,
Max
