Markus, the pics of the CMP Flak are good, note that they have painted the FPN on it in place of a registration number ! I wonder if anyone can identify the unit from the FPN ?

Marcus, I have asked around about the FPN on your CMP Trucks and it was for 2. Kompanie Fla-Bataillon 612 .

Hi Markus

And the guns look like British 18pdr or 25/18pdr on MkV carriage.

Hi George

The crane is a Coles EMA MkVI. This crane was mounted on the Crossley IGL6 3 ton 6x4 and the Leyland Retriever 3 ton 6x4. From the angle the photo has been taken it is hard to say which type of lorry it is but I think it may be a Crossley by the shape of the fuel tank and the long stepboard between the cab and rear mudguards.

Hi Bert

Yes.

I was using the information from an old John Church drawing, photocopied in the 1970's the 8 had faded and looks like a 6. :? ......note to self do go and have your eyes tested :)
