Hi Larry:
Regarding your vehicle park photo, I have some thoughts.
I believe the first car on the right is a Wanderer W50 and I will post another photo here.
I cannot ID motorbikes but then you have a row of Mercedes 170 VK, then what I believe is a MAN truck next to another possible MAN then two more 170 VK and what appears to be a British Bedford. In the next row are 4 Mercedes.
Skipping to the rear, kind of looks like a Matford and the other one, the larger one, I cannot yet ID.
Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill
Thanks for the IDs of the vehicles in my photo.
Mike: Registration numbers on the rear side of vehicles seems to have been fairly common. Looking through my vehicle pics I have found several, even in the RW days. All of them on trucks only. Here is a pic of some Bussing NAG trucks of 1 Inf. Division with side rear plates.
Cheers

Yes Bill, everything is going well thanks for asking!Bill Murray wrote:Hi Mike:
I just found this one in my photo files.
BTW, did you get properly situated with a new job??
Edit: Photo is off a long expired ebay sale.
Bill
I have been looking thru a nacht. album I have and yes there on the large trucks are two plates. I wonder if the reason is because of the size of these vehicles it made it easier for whoever was in charge of the motor-pools to keep track of them??
Can someone identify this shield unit emblem?
Hello,
I wanted to know if someone can identify the unit emblem seen on the front of this German vehicle.

Thanks Bill for the id. I thought the truck was a Phaenomem but didn't want to ID on my own. As for the other I agree and will post one other shot of the same vehicle from the rear. It looks like a converted 38 or 39 chevy ambulance. MikeBill Murray wrote:Hi Mike:
Nice Phaenomen Granit 30 and probably a Chevrolet.
