Hello marwaj:

The earlier photo of the larger truck is a civilian KHD Magirus truck. I will try to get the specific model number tomorrow.

The last photo is a Ford, a 1939 model, and I am not sure if it is a German origin Ford or a Beute vehicle.

I am unable to help with the unit ID questions as this is outside of my area of research.

Hi Marwej, hi Bill,

to the unit with the Ford. It must be a police unit. Look at the license plate. There is "Pol" for police. I cannot tell You more, because I´m no specialist in unit markings.

To the larg truck: Sorry, Bill, I don´t agree with You. I think the larger truck is not a Magirus, but a Hansa-Lloyd. The specific model I don´t know here at work, but I´ll try to ID it later today.

Regards

Bert

Hi Bert:

I am wrong, you are correct.
Here is another photo of a Hansa like our subject truck.
Don't remember the model either and my books are still packed away.

Hi all,

Does somebody knows the division who is the "owner" of the Truppenkennzeichen on the mysterious tanker behind the Krupp Protze?

Good day
I wanted to ask if you still will be operational this Website http://chrito.users1.50megs.com/. Alternatively, if it is moved somewhere else.

Good Day
Stills from a Video. Pendants and possibly 78th Infantry Division. I say possibly as it does not quite
match up with two other sources. Close but not totally the same.(78th Inf Div not 78th Sturm Div.)
Sorry if picture looks a little off, as film was wide screen and capture program captures in 4:3 so I
had to manually widen.

I have come across the emblem several times, but only ever on PzIII's.

One of the photo's is captioned as being in the Leningrad area.

Does anyone know which unit this is?

Cheers,
