The Panther was used by the French 1e DB (or maybe 5e DB) in Alsace where it was captured.

Hi Claude,
Info from B&B n°5
This panther was captured in Kaysersberg 18 december 1944.
Named "Kaysersberg", used in combat for Colmar liberation in january 1945 and in the sector of Urschenheim and Durrenentzen in february 1945.
Men of french 5e DB have one pz4 named "Kientzheim"too.
"Kaysersberg" have a mechanical breakdown in 4 april 1945 and was abandonned.

The German design for a " good looking " combat half-track, proved too irresistible even for the Americans . Even nqw they still look very cool . My good friend Francy, heres one from ebay.

Just noticed Francy that these lads have done custom work to their Kubel. Excluding the Broad painted on the side, like the windshield and the honker attached to the divers side. They look like all is needed is Bea Bop music.

Could someone tell me, what are this "doors" on those tanketts on both sides of it? Some protection or what...
