Free NARA Rolls

Jeff Leach, that's an incredible collection there. I thank you greatly beacuse I was able to download a few rolls that have to do with the Greek campaign.
I want to ask you, do you have the rolls of the participation of the various formations in the Greek camapign? I would be particulalry interested in Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler and 9th Panzer division, as well as the 2nd and 5th Panzer divisions.

There is not that much pre-1941 material available for free and a lot of what is - is fire-damaged. Digital History Archive might have some LSSAH material but it isn't on his lists yet. This material (T354 R610 and R611) might have some material from the Greek Campaign but most of it deals with a later time period.

Hi Xristar,
There is a combat report of SS LAH Brigades participation in the Greek campaign on T354, roll 609. The 9th and 2nd Panzer Division war diaries are on the T315, roll 529 (9th Panzer) and T315, roll 89 (2nd Panzer). As for the 5th Panzer Division, there appears to be no existing war diary or combat report for them. However, Anton v. Plato wrote a post war book about the divisions war history, Die Geshichte der 5. PanzerDivision 1938 bis 1945. It gives a decent account of its activities during the Greek Campaign. I already have jpg copies of all the above, so PM me if you would like to have copies.

Discovered a couple of mislabeled rolls. In section T312, R871 and R872 are actually R781 and R782 when you download them. Might want to correct those.

What are all those "RH" folders? Are they all II.FJ Korps?
When I search Bundesarchiv for "RH 10-65" for example, it tells me 'No Results'.
Should those be RL 10?

EDIT an hour later: Never mind..I got 'em. I hadn't downloaded them before because I assumed they were large files. Too bad about those II.FJ copies. Yikes!

Also - and this is a more general question about Wehrmacht/W-SS archives - Does the BAMA have unit records which were not microfilmed in the US?
For example, although many gaps exist, there are a lot of Panzer-Divs whose post-1943 records are missing. Yet many of those same divisions published detailed post-war histories which specifically cited various KTBs or records from periods after 42-43. These KTB aren't at NARA, which means they were privately held by some of the unit's personnel at war's end, and 'hidden'. They never fell into Allied hands and were never microfilmed by the US. But they must exist somewhere...
Were any eventually donated to BAMA?
