Hi:

I have added a second login to my FTP server. If you see a message that says the max connections for FTP-User-1 has been reached try the following login. Everything is the same except for the login ID which is FTP-User-2.

Host: jccalvin.ddns.net
Login ID: FTP-User-2
Password: SKNVr8du
Protocol: Plain FTP
Port: 21
Passive FTP
No TLS over FTP

John

Hi:

Regarding the previous message. FTP-User-2 can actually be used anytime you want. It is just another login ID.

John

Got strange response for several times:
"Status: Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead.
Command: MLSD
Response: 425 Can't open data connection for transfer of "/"
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing"

Does anybody knows, what I'm doing wrong? Using FileZilla.

Same problem pops up for a few weeks now. I use WinSCP. This decreases stability of the server dramatically.

Hi:

As I am sure many of you know I have been having serious problems with users not being able to login. I have been trouble shooting for more than a week without success. I think I have come up with a temporary fix. The following is the login that works for some of the people.

Host: jccalvin.ddns.net
Login ID: FTP-User-1 or FTP-User-2
Password: SKNVr8du
Protocol: Plain FTP
Port: 21
Passive FTP
No TLS over FTP

You can now use an alternative Host name: jccalvin-2.ddns.net. The other login info is the same.

I apologize for the problems and I am continuing working on a permanent resolution.

Regards,

John

Well, I'm pretty confused.
I've tried jccalvin.ddns.net just as you, John, wrote - and still got "Failed to retrieve directory listing". But with jccalvin-2.ddns.net I've managed to reach your server just fine.
Any way - thank you for your work and your generosity!

Now I can't connect to jccalvin-2.ddns.net as well :( Error is "Could not connect to server". Yesterday it was working fine.

I can not get access too (for several months already). Or is that because I am blocked (again) ?

Well, I've set number of connections to "1", so this should not be the case. Any way I don't get "connection refused" message.
