Combat & Other Video Footage

Hello Friends,
My name is Henry and I am very excited to have found this forum. I appreciate the membership. My question I have pertains to the following:
When I watch historical video of WWII; whether its on television or DVD documentaries, the clips of combat footage are always just two or three second clips. I was wondering is there are any resources online to watch the photographers entire footage ....... not just a hundred 3 second clips and documentary like on the TV specials. Basically Im looking for WWII video footage that has not been edited or clipped. Many Thanks, Henry

Hi Henry,

a video without editing? Such thing didn´t and doesn´t exist.
Other than that you sure can use the Steven Spielberg archive:

The Pathe channel on You Tube has many UK/Canadian unedited 'raw' reels as shot in WW2. They are the ones listed as 'Unissued / Unused' material.

The US Signal Corps raw footage is also on You Tube-somewhere!
