Hi,

I'm looking for the roll T-10315 R1040 (named T-315 R1040 on sturmpanzer) to read something about the 68. Infanterie-Division for the timespan 1940 - June 1941. The rolls 1041 & 1042 are available online, but I'm particulary interested in the time before Operation Barbarossa for genealogical reasons.
The availability on sturmpanzer is labeled "Other", so I'm hoping that someone knows how (or if) its possible to obtain that roll.

Thanks!

Hello gentlemen,

of the serie T 78 I am still looking for the following rolls :
R 944
R 901, R 902, R 903, R 905, R 906

I' m also looking for more rolls of the long serie A 3356 (I have 2 rolls only, R 786, R 787)

It' s not my intention to buy them. I have many rolls, so I hope I can get them free, simply by exchanging rolls.

Thanks in advance, Rossano

Short status on the whole list. It's regularly updated through Sturmpanzer.com's search engine (here).

When I first published the list 6 months ago, I thought I had an almost complete view of the rolls made digital. But since I have found new rolls almost every week, so that the total list has expanded by more than 200 rolls. It's +5%, but it's also many more rolls than I thought could be available.

One thing I have slowly realized is the extent of NARA-like collections of German material in archives of other countries (besides Germany proper). Each National Archives has made copies of part of the NARA material, and it's sometimes much cheaper to get than at NARA. I know of such cases in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, former Yugoslavia, not to mention Russia (extract of which are online). There must also be copies in the UK, although I'm not sure where because they don't seem to be at IWM and I could not spot anything relevant at TNA.

Over the months, I have been in contact with ca. 50 people with whom to send/receive archives. I keep meeting new contacts. I probably know no more than one fourth of the community, if nothing because there sometimes lacks a common communication language. I'd say there are about 200 people both interested in material made digital and reachable through the internet.

There are no full sets of SSO microfilms/digital copies in the UK that I am aware of - if there were it would make my life easier (and cheaper).
The Wiener Library in London has maybe six microfilm rolls of SSO.
I am not aware of any others held in UK archives.

I would be extremely surprised whether SSO complete sets are available anywhere in Europe other than Bundesarchiv Berlin-Lichterfelde.

Do you know about non-SSO material in the UK?
