Trial Transcripts

Hi all.

Does anyone knows, if transcripts from West German Courts pertaining to trials against Nazi perpetrators are viewable? I am particularly interested in the Bialystok trial in LG Wuppertal 1967-1968 against former Battalion members from PB 309.

Because of German data protection legislation you are unlikely to find trial transcripts of West German and now German war crimes trials.

Your only option is to ask if you can visit the archive of the prosecuting authority to examine the transcript.

You might also consider visiting the Bundesarchiv Ludwigsburg where you can examine and have photocopied copies of the prosecution case, interviews, statements etc,
