Researcher for Russian Archives Moscow

#1

Post by pablo287 » 09 Aug 2014, 11:05

Hello,

I'm interested in having some research done on Russian military units during the period 1916-17 in the Russian Archives. I have done some preliminary research and I see files exist for the units I'm interested in....

Has anyone had any experience with hiring a researcher specializing in military history to do work in Moscow?

Thank you,

Pablo

It's not TsAMO, it's RGVIA I expect (Russian State Military-Historical Archive) TsAMO contains materials for 1941-45.
I'm not sure I can find some researcher for this work, but anyway it must be a bit easier than TsAMO
