Hi:

For those of you who download German Situation Maps from my FTP server there is an alternative for some of them. The following maps can be downloaded from my web site which may be faster.

1942 (All Months), 1943 (Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec), and 1945 (Jan).

Hi Borowskiy:

Unfortunately, I do not have these maps and it is very expensive to travel to NARA and spend the time to copy the maps.

Regards,

John

I keep getting 'too many connections' error when trying to connect. Anyone else with that problem?
The enemy had superiority in numbers, his tanks were more heavily armoured, they had larger calibre guns with nearly twice the effective range of ours, and their telescopes were superior. 5 RTR 19/11/41

This is a frequent occurrence, but you just have to keep trying. You can also try to identify times with less traffic and come back then.

John, can you confirm that the OKH rolls T-78 R-885 and R-894 are indeed incomplete? I just ask to make sure that the missing files were not lost due to any technical problem (like a failed or interrupted upload etc.).

Kind regards,
askropp
