**********

All materials are from archive and of course presents only in digitailized form (I'm not going to break archival rules to own their originals).
All books are in Russian language. Sometimes handwritten.

If anybody are interested in getting them, please, contact me.
Ordering this kind of materials is a bit expensive and dividing sums to several men it would be more easy to proceed.

regards
Alex

Great stuff, I think. I can't read Russian, so I don't have a clue about what's written here.
Now if you could find me some captured german T/O&E's, that would be great. KStN 25 for example (Arko) as of 1.2.1941.

and there you have part of the problem. It is absolutely unknown. From my reliable source it is also absolutely unknown to the own staff, because there was no index whatsoever.

Yes, the main problem was absense of any index of thsoe records.

I'm silent about Hungarian, Finnish, Italian, Romanian and other records, which are aloso stored there, but have no chances yet to be opened... Germans put money into this project and that's why those records were opened...

I think it's great that this information is available, but I can't tell what is there.

Does any of it have to do with the Kandalaksha front?

Try searching some individual days that are interested. Most of the documents are well enough labels that you should be able to see any of the units in the area you are interested in are listed. There are records from units down to battalion level.

BTW Don't think 'Kandalaksha front' is not a Soviet formation it would be Kandalaksha Operational Group or the army it was converted into (1942 I think).

There were some documents for the 104 and 122 Rifle Divisions and the 42 Rifle Corps. Just write the units number in the Воинская Часть field.
