Luftwaffe weapon?
Luftwaffe weapon?

PS: this probably just a naval projectile without connection with rockets. Anyone can recognize if the rockets are Luftwaffe?

Re: Luftwaffe weapon?
The lower two shells could plausibly be rocket assisted artillery shells of some sort. Wild guess- maybe rochling(sp?) shell for German K5 gun.
The top shell appears to be a fantasy piece, as no artillery shell, or converted to airplane bomb artillery shell, would have a working air-foil like that.
The lower two may be fantasy pieces also, with venturi from some other weapon attached to regular artillery shells.
Certainly all three tacked together is a fantasy piece.

Re: Luftwaffe weapon?
The thing on top is an AP bomb - a warhead of the PC 1000 RS seems to be a good match, although dimensions would help in positive ID. The wing is attached to a trunnion lug, just for fun, I think.
Two things below look like Rheinmetall Borsig engines for rocket bombs, with central reduction valve surrounded by nozzles. Ballistic caps are probably added for more impressive look, but I have no idea of the engines' type. They are obviously not from the PC 500/1000/1800 RS bombs.

Re: Luftwaffe weapon?
You're prolly right. Top piece is the warhead section of PC RS, the lugs match IMO. The bottom two may be some version of the 2nd rocket stage pieces of a similar(same?) PC RS bomb with fake caps in front. Looks kinda small for 1000 might be 500. Really need a scale or ruler in picture to know diameter

Re: Luftwaffe weapon?
PC 1000 RS and PC 1800 RS engines had different construction of rear sections with nozzles, similar were also used in SC 500 RS and BT 1000 RS.
But when I look at these engines now, I think they could be from the PC 500 RS indeed. Initially I thought they were too short, but now I believe they are just OK, with combustion chamber length to diameter ratio of just under 3.

Re: Luftwaffe weapon?
PC 500 RS had 6 rocket venturi tubes whilst PC 1000 RS had eight. The book "Designed to kill" by A.Hogben 1987 PSL ISBN 0850598656 has photo on page 101 of PC 500 RS recovered on 4 January 1942 on Malta with page 244 a sectioned diagram of the same (15" or 380mm diameter and 9' or 2.75 m long)
Book is about British bomb disposal.

Thanks for the book tip!
PC 1000 RS had six nozzles as well: http://forum.valka.cz/viewtopic.php/t/63798/start/-1
