I am looking for a suggestion on a book on JG 27 and ZG 26, ideally something similar to Priens books on JG 53.

Hi Brady,

Jochen Prien, Gerhard Stemmer & Peter Rodeike wrote three books about Jagdgeschwader 27, but they are only in German: http://www.jagdgeschwader.net/index.php ... 0c025213c8

Shorter, but also in German, is the book by Hans Ring and Werner Girbig: http://www.amazon.com/Chronik-Jagdgesch ... 3613034611

Unfortunately, Zerstörergeschwader 26 is not as well covered in the literature.

Cheers,
Andrew A.

If you want boks in English then the Polish publisher "Kagero" has published 4 softback books covering JG27.
They are in their Air Minitures series and are #01-vol1, #05-vol2, #12-vol3 and #34-vol4. They are well illustrated + colour profiles and are affordable.

I have Priens books on JG 53, they're quite remarkable, I would not mind getting his other books in German, it would be a bit of a slog but they would be worth it, there may be a workaround I just need to try and figure it out
