Not on the nose but a clever example of aircraft art nonetheless: A Bf 109 pilot's version of Mickey Mouse dancing to the music of Betty Boop!

Here's one with an unusual twist; A Romanian Ju 88 repainted after its pilot defected to the Allies in Cyprus.

Hello to all :D; a complement................................

FW 200 Condor Albatros III.
For instance the Personal Focke-Wulff Fw 200 Condor of Grand Admiral Dönitz while commander of the Submarine Arm had below the Cockpit the Submarine War Badge with the inscription Albatros III below.

Hello to all :D; something more about the German art ............................

The II./ZG 1 in Italy 1943.

In April 1943, the deployment of the group on the Eastern Front ended and it was moved to Trapani under Luftflotte 2. In May, it moved to Pomigliano and in June to Monte Corvino in the area of the II. Fliegerkorps.
