Gentlemen,
The tail fin belongs to a Ju-52 transport plane. I wonder what really these kills marking are? I kind of doubt that if those kills were for shot down Soviet planes. Can you please solve this picture?

Dear Sir,
Just as I thought. The Ju-52 plane that had a magnetic ring under the plane and the kill markings were for sea mines. A less glorious but important job for the crew. There were a few German Cross in Gold winners in destroying sea mines from the air. None had a Knight's Cross. It would be interesting to know who was the most successful crew in destroying mines from the air.
Some of the Ju-52 planes had 40 and over kill markings over sea mines on their rudders.
