Unknown Luftwaffe general
It’s August the 29th 1938, 1100 local time. The Luftwaffe Ju 52 has just landed at the Ljungbyhed air base in the very south of Sweden. Milch and Stumpff have just disembarked the Ju 52 and are just welcomed by the chief of the Swedish Air Force and his chief of staff.
At this time Milch was General der Flieger and Stumpff general chief of staff at Luftwaffe.
However the group photo shows a third Luftwaffe general, fourth man from the right. I don't think Luftwaffe had so many generals in 1938. But for me he is unknown, but maybe somebody at the forum recognize him?
