Thanks von thoma,
As Ironmachine pointed out there was more than one possible correct answer to your question. So I ask who was another ace who was killed after colliding with his wingman?
Cheers,
Max

Heinz Wernicke of 1./JG 54, for example.
But Heinz "Piepl" Wernicke is lesser known Luftwaffe ace than Wurmheller.

That is not who I had in mind, but this question has several correct answers and yours was one of them. So please proceed with a new question.
Cheers,

It has been quite a few days and no one has taken a stab at this question yet.
I myself have not bee able to find a photo of these two men so I am going to take a blind guess.
Would it be:
Heinrich Alexander Ludwig Peter Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein ?

Solution: Erbo Graf von Kageneck.
The picture is shown on "Fighter aces of Luftwaffe" book, by Tolliver & Constable.
