hello, Max,
Maxschnauzer wrote:Hello, PB
According to my list of Nachtjäger Aces Johannes Hager (He 219), Heinz Rökker (Ju 88), Reinhold Knacke (Bf 110), Erich Jung (Ju 88), Joseph Puetzkuhl (??), Wilhelm Morlock (He 219) & Wilhelm Seuss (Bf 110) all scored 5 or more victories in one night.
I would have been satisfied with
- Me 110 (my choice was Martin Becker)
- He 219 (my choice was Werner Streib) an
- Ju 88 (my choice was Heinrich Prinz Sayn-Wittgenstein)
Thanks to you, I've looked up some more names.

It's your turn!

Thank you pb,

Which aircraft used a combination of piston engine and compressor to enable it to fly without a propeller?
Cheers,
Max

That's close enough. I believe this particular aircraft is the Ho IX V2 prototype of the 229. I don't know whether the Dräger pressure suit was ever used in the production Ho 229 but I am often mistaken.

Carry on, Sir!
