Yes it is a captured Aichi E16A Zuiun (瑞雲 "Auspicious Cloud").

Re: The official AHF Axis aircraft quiz thread
My best guess would be a captured FIAT CR.25 but some of the details are a little off.
Cheers,

Re: The official AHF Axis aircraft quiz thread
I know. The 2 bladed props were wrong, among other things. Could it be a Japanese Ki 54 like this one?
Cheers,

Re: The official AHF Axis aircraft quiz thread
I'm guessing that it's a captured French Caudron C.714 "Cyclone"?
Shooting 'em down in flames!
Re: The official AHF Axis aircraft quiz thread
I thought it was either a Nardi 316 or a SAI 403 but it's not the latter.

Re: The official AHF Axis aircraft quiz thread
Hello, Ifor.
I have several sources that call it an SAI.403 Dardo e.g. http://all-aero.com/index.php/home2/871 ... i403-dardo but I suppose it could also be an SAI.207 which looks pretty much identical. You got the answer I was looking for so it's your move.

Never been very intelligent, but I can lift heavy things! I've tried to copy a jpg onto here but it refuses to play. I've tried to use the upload attachment but still no. Any Ideas?

Hi Ifor,
It may be that your attachment is too large (I forgot the exact limit). If you scroll up to the top you may see that message. If so, reduce the size of the jpg then retry.
