Thank you again Graveland. What I don't understand is, if this was Ritterkreuz ceremony, why Kurt Student also standing beside all the recipients even though he received RK already in 1940 and not received EL until 1943?

Hello guys!

Can you help solve this puzzle? I suppose this general it's Ernst Müller but my doubts are born on a misunderstanding of why he wears GC if he not listed as holder. :?

Well done Alex.

#3 was Friedrich Breith Kmdr Art Schule I Berlin -- Bilblio had him down as Kdr Art Schule II Jüterbog as well but I defer to the expert knowledge of Bernd and Jan-Hendrik as they had Breith exclusively at Art Schule I.

Likely Bordihn was now back in Heimat as Kmdt Befestg. Oberrhein rather than PiFü AOK 15.

The other two looked more than familiar but it will take a little longer.

Cheers

The person in my photo is Generalleutnant Wilhelm Wegener, cmdr. 32 Inf. Division.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I doubt very much that it is Wegener - he was awarded the Ritterkreuz as an Oberstleutnant and the Eichenlaub as an Oberst. It is highly unlikely he wouldn't have been wearing them in the photo.

Best regards,

It has been impossible for me to read the name of this general. The caption said ii is in Lithuania in 1941.
I´d appreciate your help to ID him.

Hi Miocid,

It was [Iwan] Heunert as Kdr. 58. ID at the early stage of Barbarossa before he went to Köruck 525 in Norway. This is what you get for taking intensive Sütterlin lessons from Dieter!!

Thank you Elwyn!
He certainly resembles HEUNERT. I could only make the "H", even though it is written "h". I think I have to practice more.
