Hi troops!

I would like to complete my Gen. Maj./Gen. Lt. sections with the following data. Any help would be appreciated:

1. Dates of Death:

Kühne Friedrich, Gen. Lt.
Leyen von der Ludwig, Gen. Lt.
Mühlmann Max, Gen. Lt.
Starke Hermann, Gen. Lt.
Steinmetz Bernhard, Gen. Lt.
Uthmann von Bruno, Gen. Lt.
Weckmann Kurt, Gen. Lt.

2. Dates of Promotions (RDA):

Ott Eugen (geb. 1889), Gen. Maj. - not included in Keilig
Schaumburg Ernst, char. Gen. Lt.?/Gen. Lt. - Keilig is blank
Starke Hermann, char. Gen. Lt. - Keilig lists char. Gen. Lt. as per as 07.11.1938, but the date seems a little bit strange to me.

Regards!

Have the promotion dates of Wilhelm Marx been ascertained in the meantime? His assignments as General were:

01.11.1928 - 31.01.1929 Chef des Stabes Inspektion der Artillerie (In 4)
01.02.1929 - 29.02.1932 Inspekteur der Artillerie (In 4)

to Stauffenberg II:

The date of death for Lt. General Kurt Weckmann is April 14, 1981 in Baden-Baden. He was my mother's 1/2 cousin. His father, Paul, and my grandmother, Ella, were 1/2 brother & sister.

This thread is quite old and I guess that all questions have been answered elsewhere, but for the sake of completeness:

Edwin von Stüplnagel
Charakter als General der Infanterie a.D. 01.11.1931

Wilhelm Marx
Generalleutnant 01.11.1931

Fritz Kühne
+ 05.04.1972

Ludwig von der Leyen
+ 03.02.1967

Max Mühlmann
+ 10.03.1945 OR 10.05.1945 (killed by Soviet soldiers)

Hermann Starke
Charakter als Generalleutnant a.D. 07.11.1938 (this indeed looks strange, but he was not promoted with his retirement in 1932)
Generalleutnant z.V. 01.06.1941
+ 06.04.1963

Bernhard Steinmetz
+ 22.01.1981

Bruno von Uthmann
+ 08.06.1978

Eugen Ott
[* 08.04.1889 Rottenburg am Neckar; † 23.01.1977 Tutzing am Starnberger See (Oberbayern)]
Generalmajor 01.10.1937 (3)

Ernst Schaumburg
Charakter als Generalleutnant 20.04.1935
Generalleutnant 01.02.1938 (4)
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

On Schaumburg, the 1935 DAL gives his (and Hermann von Gimborn's) RDA as Char. GL as 20.04.1935, while the 1936 DAL says 01.04.1935.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
