Hello,
let's continue a bit with Hermann's relatives, today the family of his step-sister Frieda:
Friederike Wilhelmine
Frieda Clara Göring
* July 16th, 1875 in Metz (Lorraine)
+ Oct. 9th, 1929 in Kiel (Schleswig-Holstein)
oo
Korvettenkapitän a.D. Otto Friedrich Burchard
* Sept. 6th, 1865 in Rostock (Mecklenburg)
+ Jan. 10th, 1904 in Kiel (Schleswig-Holstein)
Otto Burchard served a good deal of his military career in the South Pacific. Unfortunately he contracted a tropical desease there that led to him being retired early in 1900 as well as to his death only four years later (N.N., 1905, p.56).
The couple had four daughters:
Ida Maria Burchard
* May 16th, 1897 in Kiel
+ ???
oo
Dr.iur. Walter Molly
* July 15th, 1888 in Altenkirchen (Westerwald)
+ March 6th, 1956
Walter Molly was a german career diplomat who was (among numerous other offices) consul in Lodz (Poland) 1932 - 1934 and from 1937 until Jan. 1942 consul general in Sao Paulo (Brazil). For a detailed synopsis of his life see Keipert & Grupp (2000, pp.280).
The Molly couple had two children:
Gudula Molly
* Nov. 11th, 1920 in ???
+ ??? in ???
Klaus Molly
* Dec. 14th, 1924 in Constantinople (Turkey)
+ Jan. 08th, 1945 (
http://www.volksbund.de/home.html) or Febr. 19th, 2012 (
http://www.haz-trauer.de/traueranzeige/ ... y/14674839). Obviously there's somebody else in the grave of Klaus Molly in Lommel (Belgium), presumably a case still listed as MIA.

Ilse Johanna Luise Katharina Ada Burchard
* Apr. 28th 1898 in Kiel
+ ??? in ???
oo (1.) Karl Ernst Göring
oo (2.) Rudolf Diels
She and her three sons have already been treated here

Elfriede Gertrud Clara Maria Burchard
* Aug. 3rd, 1900 in Kiel
+ 1975 in Caracas, Venezuela
oo 1935 (Otto?) Soulavy
* 1905 in Hungary
+ 1960 in Maracaibo, Venezuela
I've found very little about her but like her younger sister her trail leads to Venezuela. One genealogical site says she married one Otto Soulavy from Hungary in 1935. But in a 1930s list of presents for Hermann Göring they're listed amongst other donors as Karli and Elfriede Soulavy. When they were naturalized in Venezuela in 1955 (
http://www.pgr.gob.ve/dmdocuments/1955/24871.pdf, p.4) their names were recorded as 'Karl E. Soulavy Horat' and 'Elfriede Burchard de Soulavy'. It seems her husband went at various times as Otto, Ottokar, Karl E., Karli or Carlos Soulavy. There was a Karl E. Soulavy who was a senior engineer and leading manager in the Manfred Weiss Steel & Metal Works, Hungary's most important armaments producer in WW II. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is the same chap. Göring with his extended interest in war economics would have been only too pleased to install one of his relatives there in a key position.
The couple had three children but little has been published about them.

Erika Gertrud Elisabeth Burchard
* Oct. 18th, 1901 in Kiel
+ 1958 in San Cristóbal, Táchira [State], Venezuela
oo
Walt(h)er Rode (Boué)
* Oct. 29th, 1890 in San Cristóbal, Táchira, Venezuela
+ 1980 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
In 1921 Erika married Walter Rode, the son of merchant Heinrich Rode from Hamburg who'd come to Venezuela as a clerk in 1880. After a decade of successful business deals Heinrich Rode became a partner in the trading house of Van Dissel, Rode & Co. in Maracaibo that specialized in coffee trade, also owning a number of coffee haciendas in the Andes region of Venezula (Rode, 1993).
Until shortly before WW II Walter and Erika Rode resided on the coffee hacienda 'La Granja' in Rubio (Tachira State) (Chardón, 1934, p.48) but then decided to return to Germany. They sold it in a complicated barter deal to the Jewish Bernheimer family that tried to emigrate from Germany. The Bernheimers were rich arts and antiques dealers in Munich and Hermann Göring took the opportunity to squeeze as much money out of them as possible for himself (and his family). Details of the deal can be found in Förster (1996, pp.243). For Göring the cherry on top was obviously that he could oblige the Bernheimers to take with them Jewish actor Martin Hartwig (i.e. Martin Hirsch) and his wife Gertrud Burchard (an aunt of the Burchard girls) and pay for their stay in South America (Förster, 1996, p.244; Trapp et al., 1999, p.380).
In 1940 the Rodes bought a large farm called
Julianenhof near Buckow, about 50 kilometers east of Berlin. Emmy Göring seems to have visited them there several times with Edda. In April 1945 they fled the advancing Soviet forces.

Later they settled in Venezuela again where Walter Rode still owned at least the coffee hacienda 'Monte Bello' in Santa Ana del Tachira (Cavaletto, 1961, p.13).
The Rode couple had three children too but they all seem to prefer their privacy.
