Hello all,

please help me and find out who is the sergeant knight cross holder in the middle of this pic?
i know that the crew are from the KG 1(Kampfgeschwader) "Hindenburg" (Luftflotte1)

Hi all,

what can you told about Kurt Mevissen? Is it right, that he became the knight cross for his battle of stalingrad ?
It is strange because if he had get his knight cross for his battles in stalingrad during he was leader for the 9./KG1 which stand in near of Riga ? please help me....

Leader of the 9./KG 1 was Otto Edler von Ballasko KC 13.08.1942.. Mevissen "only" was a pilot ...
