Looks a bit like Jesser indeed but not his ears. They were quite distinctive.
Agreed, Elwyn, it's maybe interesting angle and ears do not look so familiar, but his unique nose, moustache and facial features, on the other side of the scales. This photo from BA series of early "Barbarossa" panzer commanders including Gustav - Adolf Riebel, Richard Koll, Erich Fronhöfer and Erich Löwe.

Best wishes
Ruslan

General in tropical uniform looks like GdI Sigismund von Förster. Here is for comparison: http://forum.axishistory.com/download/file.php?id=65282

Looks like a Sicilian or N African airstrip to me. Men behind were Italian officers. Förster was in the Crimea and he was a very slight man.

Hi!
On page #214 of this thread our friend alirafikkahn posted this picture of ROMMEL with an unknown general that I don´t think it´s been identified so far.
I think he is Generalleutnant Wilhelm RAAPKE , 71 ID commander at that time.
Cheers!

Thanks dear friend,
I have added your identification on page 214 - and will therefore delete your second pic soon.

Hi Miocid,

Makes perfect sense. 71 ID first in Denmark then Trieste made his big boss Rommel being there absolutely logical. Well done.

Cheers

Prima Nicobel - all's well that ends well :D

Foto № 3 shows Generalmajor Alfred Gutknecht, at that time Armee-Kraftfahroffizier beim AOK 15,then beim OB West.
Location: Kapelle-Biezelinge/Holland.

In your pic he is mispelled as Hutknecht !

SUPERB Miocid! Thank you... :)
Who is the Luftwaffe general behind Generaloberst Keller?

Hi,

In photo 1, with Mackensen & Hess, it looks like Fritsch on the extreme left.

Best regards,
