Can't find another photo of Emil Kern to compare - do you have one? Also the general in the photo is wearing EKII Spange, according to information I have Kern wasn't awarded that only EKII in WWI. Cranz on the other hand was awarded EKII & EKI Spange ?? What do you think?

Hi,

I believe it is Generalleutnant Dr. Erich von Schaewen. Definately not Kern or Cranz.

Best regards,

VJK

So the photo is Kern? EKII Spange; EKI; EKI Spange; Verwundeten-Abzeichen - complete matches.
