After looking at the picture posted by Dieter I am very much confident that the general is PELTZ.
I take the opportunity to thank Dieter for his posting.
By the way, all these years Dieter has been posting photocopies of portraits of generals from the "Sammlung Krug" and I was not curious enough to ask about that collection. Now I´ve got some questions : Where that collection is being kept? Is it possible to visit it, phisically or digitally?

Best regards.

I have an exemplar of ""Sammlung Krug- Generale Neuere Zeit A - Z" (6 very big volumes only as a manuscript) with the poor paper copies of the foto-originals - a tresure.
These volumes were made in few specimen by and only for Biblio-Verlag many years ago.

The collection is to be seen in BArch/MilArch Freiburg under (MSg 109/2022), BArch/MA Freiburg.
You may also order copies of the pictures there on request.

In "Die Generale der Waffen-SS und der Polizei" for example the excellent pic of General der Landespolizei/Generalleutnant z.V. Georg Poten was ordered there without any problems at a proportionally cheap rate.

Working through the bios I have now finished until "R" - it's a gigantic provocation and mnemonic training !

Page 224 - DSC02783.JPG - Just a guess - Man with Dollmann may it be General der Artillerie Erich Heinemann - HArko 302, he was attached to Heeresgruppe B in France campaign (AOK 7 part of HG B in july - august 1940)?

Page 57 - genfind141aj8.jpg - Maybe GdA Kurt Herzog?

Hello, guys!

No any comments or opinons? :P :)

Found a more clear picture of this eared general, maybe help in the progress.

Best wishes
Ruslan

Agreed with you, Alex! Both have similar features and proportions, but with slight differences. Veiel wore his central part of hair raised and combed to the left with parting on the right side. Herzog uses the standart "slicked up" hairstyle without parting. Also some differences in the ears.

Best wishes
