Dear Colleagues,

Who is this general with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross? Photo made in a photostudio of the photographer Wanatka Alois, Vienna. According to some reports, this photostudio worked until 1941. General photographed at some mass event associated with Italy - in the hands of children seen Italian flags.

advance grateful

I thought the same way. Location of awards is very similar. His face looks like. But, in my opinion, at this man no mustache. Photo is not too high quality, so details can not be seen.

Post #5394 - GdK Konrad von Goßler.

Post #5462 - GL Friedrich Bergmann (far right) and RK-holder - Gerd Freiherr von Ketelhodt, his position is unknown to me, but I think he was in the army staff, or the disposal of v.Kluge.

Best wishes
Ruslan

Hi,

This pic appeared on ebay.de and was named Generalmajor Eduard Eckardt. It is clearly not him - the face doesn't fit with the pic on ABR, plus he is a Generalleutnant. Anyone any ideas?

Best regards,

VJK
