Seeking information on promotions and awards of subject officer. The dates I have are probably, in most cases, Patent/RDA/mit Wirkung vom dates- need the actual promotion dates.

Died: 05.11.1987 Karlsruhe

Ritterkreuz: am 06.01.1943 als Generalmajor und Chef des Generalstabes der 6. Armee .

do you happen to know what Schmidt had done 1935-1937, before he went on to become Ia VI. Armeekorps.

Jürgen,

according "Sammlung Krug" he was since 01.10.1934 (the same date he was promoted to Major) Ia der 6. Division, succeeded on 12.10.1937 by Siegfried von Waldenburg
