Trbooks, are you going to share the info' when you have accumilated it? I for one am intrested in frontline Waffen SS who then went on to serve (or serve and commit crimes ) in concerntration camps, like Mengle for instance.

I am currently researching for a book on the officers & senior NCOs that served at Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Once I have the information I require it will be used for the book so I will share it that way. If there is any particular person you are interested let me know and I can send you the information directly. If however the book never gets to publication (hope it doesn't come to that) then I will of course share all my info.

Trbooks, thanks for that. There isn't anyone specific, I'm just intrested in the concept of men transfering from the battleground to the deathcamps and the emotions around this. Good luck with the book, I'll wait for that. I'm sure you will get some help here, if not post it again in a few days as your thread may drop down onto the next page, and perhaps doing a similar post in the Warcrime/Holocaust section (if you aren't allowed it will just get moved, you won't offend the moderators ). Regards Chris.
