Thank you Matteus. Finally I can captured some of the clips which showed Leopold 'Poldi' Graf von Rothkirch und Trach with his father. This is Poldi in 1940, smiling after inspected knocked-out French tank with "Madagascar" inscription on the hull...

General Edwin Graf von Rothkirch und Trach visited his son Poldi (now as a panzer Leutnant) in October 1943. Interestingly enough, Edwin used Fieseler Fi 156 'Torch' for the ride. Maybe he must went back again to the front shortly after... :roll:

Poldi before driving a staff car. We can see clearly his Panzervernichtungsabzeichen on his right arm!

Hallo,

I think the photo was taken during the french campaign.. Graf von Rothkirch and his son visited Verdun (?) i think.
