Sorry, no.
But I have inter alias the "Sammlung Krug" as a basis concept for further research, countercheck and confirmation.
And in more than fifty years you surely will get a gigantic slip box :)

Much to our surprise we find: Rome was not built in a day.

Cheers and still learning day by day

I have a few different dates.

First the unit he commanded should be titled Korps-Abt. D, not Battalion-Abt. A Korps Abt. (or detachement) was roughly division size and made up of the remnants of several divisions, commanded by an Oberst or Generalmajor, and usually reformed into a new division when time and circumstances permitted. There were eight of them at various times, lettered A to H.

As far as XII AK goes, he was probably just mFb until 1-7 as Bradley says Franz Beyer assumed command that day.

Last, I don't think he was mFb 4th Army as Dieter posted a bio on Kurt Tippelskirch a while back stating he was Stellv. OB 4th Army from 5-6-44 to 18-7-44.

Can we nail it down further?

Best,
Bill in Cleveland

Hello Friends.

Does anybody have a full list of Vincenz Müller's foreign decorations? In this image we can see a lot of neck orders and some slowakian awards on the chest, but the pic is too blurry:

Thanks in advance.

Very interesting. I think that, except generalfeldmarschalls, very few German generals were awarded by four foreign nations during World War II.

Thanks for your help, VJK.
