Re: more seniority
Hi Askropp
There is an error in the RDA of GM Schilling ( Walter)
the RDA is 1.6.1942 (14) neu RDA 1.4.1942 (33a)
The RDA 1.6.1942 (11 ) belongs to GM Heinrich Burggraf und Graf zu Dohna-Schlobitten
(1882 -14.9.1944 )
Source DAL 1.5.1943
Regards
Santiago

Re: more seniority
Thank you! I always thought Dohna was a z.V. officer. Can somebody tell when was he activated?
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
Re: more seniority
Santiago is correct. The same original RDA is also shown in the DAL for 1.5.1942 as a handwritten addition.
The mistake is in the original Handliste and is not a typo!

John

Hi Askropp
He retired 21.3.20
In mobilisation z.V. Officer
In DAL 1.5.1940, 1.5.41 and 1.5.42, he has a star, which means "activated for the duration of the war " and its Oberst RDA is dated 10.2.40 mit Wirkung von 1.8.38 ( 20a), who to be the date of activation

Re: more seniority
I guess there is another typo on the list ...
Oppeln should be 30.01.1945.
Oppeln should be 30.01.1945.
