Hello experts
Did a Sich.Rgt. 839 really exhist ? Not in Tessin, so ? But such a Rgt. was commanded 9/10.43 by Otl.(1.4.42) Raapke Henry (so reads his Karteikarte). Maybe he correctly commanded the Sich.Btl. 839, but quite strange as he before that (from mid 42) commanded already 2 other regiments. Maybe is 839 a wrong Rgt. no. ? Who knows better ? Finally, who knows his further assignments from 11.43 on ?
Thanks, Rossano
Did Otl. Raapke command a Sich."Rgt." or "Btl." 839 ?

This Henry Raapke is the younger brother of Wilhelm Raapke. Does anyone know if he still brought the rank of colonel? He was born on 29 June 1901 as Henry Hans Arnold Raapke in Strasburg, in West Prussia.

I don´t think that in WW2 he reached the rank of colonel
Still nobody has the answer to my question above ?
