Is it really Falkenhorst?

Hi gentlemen!

I just seen this:

Is it really Gen. Obst. Nikolaus von Falkenhorst, shown with the Johanniterkreuz?

Here is the link:

Your help would be appreciated,

Thank you AJK.

Really, I wouldn´t have recognized him. The pic must be taken very early. Nevertheless, a nice pic.

I will consider your prompt confirmation as proof enough.

The 1924 Rangliste confirms that von Falkenhorst was an Ehrenritter of the Johanniter-Orden. Here is an even earlier photograph showing him as a Major not wearing the order about 1928/29.

I hoped that you will compare it with your Rangliste. Thank you, Glenn.

After AJK´s prompt reaction as well as yours the matter seems to be clear to me.

btw: I spent a lot of time at your site earlier today. It is really excellent. Bravo Glenn.
