Keilig has him as Kommandeur Kraftf.Kpf.Tr.R.1 (Stab AOK 16) but with no date given. Wiki states that the year for that was 1940.
The Offizierstellenbesetzung of 03.01.1939 lists him as Kommandeur of Panzerabwehrtruppe I
which ties in with the entry for him in Keilig taking up that position in October 1935.

Keilig has Gen. Stahl at 714. ID from 14-4-41 but Tessin says the division was formed on 1-5-41, so 14 April might have been the date Gen. Stahl got his orders assigning him.
