Anyone has any information regarding Adolf Hitler's regimental commander, Colonel Anton Freiherr von Tubeuf post ww1?
Meaning:awards,promotions,death date etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AHLF,

Anton Freiherr von Tubeuf was born on the 28th of June 1870 at Amorbach and joined Bavarian Infantry Regiment 16 on the 9th of August 1889. By the outbreak of WW1 he was a Major in Infantry Regiment 23. He commanded Reserve Infantry Regiment 16 from the 21st of April 1917 until he had to hand over command on the 26th of July 1918 on account of sickness. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Military Max Joseph Order on the 1st of June 1918 and retired from the Bavarian army with the brevet (Charakter) rank of Oberstleutnant on the 31st of December 1919.

Leutnant: 01 Mar 1891
Oberleutnant: 27 Sep 1899
Hauptmann: 27 Oct 1906
Major: 25 Aug 1913

Awarded the Bavarian Military Merit Order Officers' Cross with Swords and the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class. He died in Bad Aibling on the 22nd of July 1950.

Do you know anything about Tubeuf being promoted to general, after Hitler's rise to power?
