I note that Lemp was a member of Jäger-Bataillon 2, but is he the same Lemp that was a pentathlete and was killed in late 1943?

I am now convinced they can't be the same man. Lemp is killed in October 1943 but the photo I have seen shows Hauptmann Hermann Lemp with Ferdinand Frech. Frech is wearing the RK he was awarded in December 1943.

best regards
