Danke Hans
But for Steltzer it can´t be Theodor. Theodor received 03.12.43 the Kreuz in Silber as OTL.dR. whilst my Steltzer was already in 1942 Ob.zV.

He was still alive in 1960, living in Lindau-Aeschach as an Oberstleutnant a. D.

from a strange book with the title 'Marc Family - Arolsen Collection' I have one

Oberst a.D. Otto Karl Gustav Steltzer
* 16.04.1876 (Berlin-)Spandau
+ 02.12.1958 Bad Wildungen

At least judging by his year of birth it could be him.

Best regards

Hello Rossano,
Rossano wrote: 1942 char. Maj.d.Ldw.z.V. v. Koscielski-Ponoschau
it must be

Major der Ldw.-Kavallerie a.D.
Edgar Antonio Arthur von Koscielski-Ponoschau.
* 03.03.1875 in Berlin
+ ??.??.???? in ???

The family 'von Koscielski' had its nobility confirmed in an imperial decree from 1917 that changed their official name into 'Koscielski von Ponoschau'. Despite that for convenience they call themselves 'von Koscielski-Ponoschau' since then.

The Gotha of 1941 gives his profession as writer but actually he was a sports instructor at a Berlin high school. [ http://bbf.dipf.de/kataloge/archivdaten ... id=p163669 , year of birth misread as 1879 there]

Best regards
