1.Need biography Dr. Taubert (Propaganda Ministry, head "Vineta" organization), Valter Kamm (head services of short-wave broadcasting).
2.The truth, what well-known American poet Pound worked in German (or Italian) radio within war? Any information on the Americans working on German radio interests.

Here are some biographical informations about Eberhard Taubert:

-1907: On May, 5th, he was born in Kassel
-He studied law at the university of Heidelberg
-He received his doctorate in 1930
-He joined the NSDAP in 1931, his membership number was 712 249
-Since 1933 he had a job at the ministry of propaganda
-Founded the Antikomintern (Organization against inernational communism) in 1933
-Since 1935 assesor at the court of justice
-In 1939 he became chief of the "Antisemitic Action"
-He wrote some speeches for Goebbels
-Since 1942 chief of staff for the Eastern provinces
-He founded in 1950 a "national organization of peace and liberty"
-Between 1958 and 1963 he was advisor of the Iranian goverment
-He received in 1972 the "Bundestverdienstkreuz" (the highest German decoration for civilians)
-He died in 1976 in Cologne

Monti, Martin James [U.S. Army Air Corps officer] – deserted at Karachi 1944; made his way to Milan with a stolen aircraft which he surrendered to German authorities; became SS officer and made radio propaganda broadcasts for the Germans; put on trial by an American court summer 1945 for desertion and theft and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment; sentence remitted 1946; rearrested and put on trial for treason Jan 1949 at a Brooklyn federal court; convicted and sentenced to 25 years imprisonment 17 Jan 1949 (LT 18 Jan 1949:4c)

Pound, Ezra (c. 1885-1.11.1972) -- American poet {indicted for treason by US government Jul 1943; capture by American troops near Genoa announced 6 May 1945 (LT 7 May 1945:3:c); held for extradition 12 May 1945 (NYT 13 May 1945:6:5); declared mentally unsound 13 Feb 1946 (LT 14 Feb 1946:3e); died at Venice 1 Nov 1972 (Obits I, p. 476).}
