In Panzergrediere der Panzerdivision "Wiking" im Bild is following info about Schnaubelt:

...Wiking battlegroup of 5 8.8cm guns,3 2cm guns and 3 1.7 cm guns during 3rd defensive battle around Warsaw in October 44 succeeded destroying in a short time 13 out of the approximately 30-35 tanks of type T-34 and T-41.During this duel gun CO Alois Schnaubelt who came from Austria alone succeeded in shooting up 9 tanks with his 8.8cm gun.In recognition of his particular courage,he was awarded the Knight's Cross.
